About
Hello! I’m Rawles and this blog is for my thoughts and commentary on the world of women’s artistic gymnastics.
I don’t claim any especial expertise outside of readings of the Code of the Points and watching lots of gymnastics. Mostly I just have a deep enjoyment of and respect for the sport. I enjoy technical examinations of competitions and tangential conversation about gymnasts almost equally so both things are likely to show up here. I used to use a tag in my personal LiveJournal for this sort of discussion and I haven’t altered the way that I go about posting with the move, which means that my analysis tends to be “layman”-friendly as it was mostly a bunch of my LJ friends who know nothing about gymnastics who were following my posts before.
I’m not aiming for this to be a news blog or information source or anything like that. I assure you that if you hear something here first it was just dumb luck on my part and if it seems like I’m trying to be a Primary Knowledgeable Source for something, my tone is just not coming through properly.
This is just gymnastics and what I think about it at any given moment.
